I shared this sweepstake on Facebook. My favorite teacher that my daughter had was Mrs. Farmer. She also spoke Spanish so my daughter learned some songs and sayings in Spanish. She was very patient with the kids and really appreciated parent involvement. I wish that she could have her every year!

  • Shared and liked on Facebook. My favorite student is a child I had many years ago who had special needs. It’s because of him, his family and our struggle as his teachers which lead me to get a BA in cognitive studies. Now I help kids and their families through their diagnosis!

My favorite teacher would have to be Mr. Casey, my 8th grade English teacher. Now don’t get me wrong, it is not the subject that made him such a great teacher. I was never huge on English and looked at it as more busy work than anything, but he made the subject more enjoyable than any other English teacher I have had. It was his first year of teaching when I had him which made things more interesting as well. He was a football coach too and never took teaching too seriously. He challenged me to a couple tennis matches and since I won we were able to have a party the next day in his class both times. He always kept the subject interesting with his own input and comical twist. My slight interest in English will always come from his way of teaching.

I want to nominate my mom, Mrs. Gallman who teaches for a school with that deals with kids and special needs, and anger management. They have low funding, and she buys a lot of supplies of out pocket, because of the funding. This would be a blessing this year to her and her students, and the school.

Favorite teacher was first grade Nancy McDonald Nichols. She was kind, sweet and loving and you knew by her voice if you had disappointed her and that was punishment enough. She taught everything hands on-and I strive to be like her every day that I teach in first grade.

  • My favorite teacher of life would have to be my Mother. When I attended jr. high school, my favorite teacher was my typing teacher, Mrs. Triano. She always went above and beyond her class lessons to help her students, even in areas of other school subjects that they may have had trouble with. She was very patient and always took the time to explain each lesson. She was an inspiration to me and for that reason, I became the “go to” person to teach all new recruits at my work. Thank you for the giveaway chance. I shared this giveaway post on Facebook, Google+, and Twitter.

  • One of my favorite teachers was my English teacher in 9th grade. He taught us all sorts of silly poems that helped us to remember English grammar principles. Because he was also the drama teachers, when we studied plays, we would get up on stage and act parts of them out. I was very shy, but I saw myself really open up that year, because the class also taught be to be confident in myself.

My son’s favorite teacher is Ms. Cruz. She checks on him throughout the day to make sure it is going well. She also sits in with him when she can. He has Asperger’s and ADHD so it is not always easy for him. A teacher showing this much interest and care for my son deserves everything I can do for her. I shared this on twitter.
