I deserve to win because I have two kids in college-with lots of tuition to pay. I also got hurt at work and they fired me because they said my disability was caused by an old accident.
I am a mother of 4 and i cant afford the fees for school or even hot lunch and this would really help my children out when they can go back to school ..so maybe they can have hot lunch or i can pay for them to go to school

I teach at Highland East Junior High in Moore, OK. Our school received significant damage in a tornado on May 20, 2013. I would use these supplies to help students who lost everything in the storm. Our students are awesome and these supplies could help set the tone for a great school year!
My school, Highland East Junior High, was severely damaged during the May 20 tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma. We received even more water damage due to severe storms that came through again on May 31. My classroom had water damage, and I won’t know what of my classroom supplies was salvageable until we go back to school in August. Many of our students lost everything due to these storms, and my goal is to create a space within my classroom where students can come without having to worry about things like binders and colored pencils. It would be great to have all of those supplies ready for them to use at the start of the school year. It may not seem like much, but it would be such a comfort to those kids to see that school is still a safe place for them to come learn and be loved and cared for.
