Elmer’s Glue Stick Giveaway

Update: We have our winners! Congratulations to Jennifer and AnnaMarie for winning the Elmer’s Glue Stick Giveaway!

Jennifer:

This time of year, teachers search through sales ads looking for the best price for school supplies for the coming year. We all have students who cannot afford supplies and so we dig deep into our pockets to provide for them so that they can be excited about returning to school too with brand new school supplies. My colleague and I just discussed the other day where we might find the best price for glue sticks. We both teach 130+students in our 3rd and 4th grade Science classes. With so many students, we tend to go through glue sticks quickly making models, creating foldables and working in our journals. We would love to win Elmer’s glue sticks for our students. Thank you for offering such a wonderful giveaway.

AnnaMarie:

I am a kindergarten teacher and do many projects using glue sticks with them. Many children, coming into kindergarten, need the fine motor skills of cutting and gluing since they were not given those opportunities prior to starting kindergarten. Having strong fine motor skills helps make drawing, coloring and writing much easier! I also have 2 teammates that I would happily share the supply. Thanks for the opportunity!!

Hope you guys have a great school year! Congratulations again! And thank you to all the participants! Don’t  miss our new Paper Mate Giveaway and your chance to win dozens of Paper Mate pens and pencils, plus Liquid Paper correction tape! Good luck!

I have been a loyal customer of elmers glue for over 20 some years. We use alot of glu sticks in this family. My husband uses them to seal his mail. My son and daughter are still in school and always using elmers glue sticks for their school products. I tell people I know how good the products are.

  • I would love to win since I teach kindergarten and the first time they use them they twist them so far they fall out or smudge them hard onto paper breaking them. I always buy more to replace them. 😉

I teach in a special school with a small budget. I have a class of 8 autistic and special needs students and we do a lot of messy crafts to help learn the most basic things. They would be a huge help in my classroom!! Thanks!

I teach at a very low income school where supplies are hard to come by. I would share these Elmer Glue Sticks with the many wonderful and inspiring teachers who use them for interactive notebooks and other hands-on projects they do with our students. Their efforts are working too because our students have been excelling despite their circumstances. Thank you again for the opportunity to win supplies for our under-served students.

I teach 4 year old head start. We do many fine motor skills & emotional skills that require glue sticks throughout the year. I always have to replish glue sticks & dry erase markers at Christmas time because we are out. It is a need the children use them not a want. I use my own money because children come first in my room. I feel like children need to express themselves through creative ways including using glue sticks to put together projects which represent them.

As a school, we use Interactive Notebooks in every core and non-core class — including PE and Band! The only glue sticks that truly hold are Elmer’s — gets expensive to buy. Most of us buy them for our classrooms (middle school), since we are a Title I school and over 91% of our kids are poverty-level…

I should win because with the increasing number of kindergarten students per classroom, there is NEVER enough gluesticks to go around. 🙁

I need these because I never get enough for all my kids. A lot of our kids are in lower income families and aren’t able to purchase all the supplies.

Our school district purchases supplies, but they are not Elmer’s quality! Thank you for the opportunity to get quality glue sticks for my classroom! We use them daily in our journals for math.

I would love to win the glue sticks. I teach in a very multicultural low income district and I provide many of the supplies for my kiddos. Many of my parents can not afford supplies for the kids. Over the last 2 days I’ve been trying to hit all the sales to start up my supplies, anything from you would be very helpful as I like to do a lot of projects with the kids fine motor and language skills !

60 glue sticks?! I am already dreaming about all the great learning crafts and projects my classroom kiddos will be able to do using these sticks. In an elementary classroom, glue sticks are the one supply that seem to “disappear” first. Winning a case of this excellent product (REALLY love the purple to clear aspect), would help keep the projects and crafts going strong all year long.

I am a second grade teacher. This is my 30th year. I wish I had a penny for every stick of Elmer’s glue I have purchased for my classes over the years. I have 4 years left. I deserve to win so I can pocket a little of my paycheck.

I find that by teaching my math and reading concepts with craft projects that students feel attached. Since we are limited in time and space glue stocks make the projects easier to complete. So to win a class set of 60 would help me and parents keep a supply of glue sticks on hand for all students to use freely.

As a first year teacher I am trying to purchase as much as I can this Summer so the first graders I will be working with will not have to worry about school supplies (from glue sticks to pencils and notebooks). We have many low poverty schools in our area, so as my “pay it forward” I try to help parents out as much as I can by not only teaching their child but providing the necessary materials they will need to learn .

  • I would love to win. I enjoy being creative when teaching, but with the limited amount of supplies we have this is often difficult. With the additional glue sticks, it would help me develop my hands on activities for my first graders who need a creative break every now and then.

I would love to win because my class and I use them in reading, math, and on art projects. It seems sometimes we have more empty containers than ones with glue.

  • I would love to win this 60 pack of glue because as a first grade teacher we use sooooo many! I teach in a high proverty innercity school system where very few parents provide school supplies. I am constantly buying glue sticks (I can’t stand glue bottles), erasers, pencils, tissues, etc for my classroom! Thanks so much!
