X-ACTO Electric Pencil Sharpener Giveaway

Update: We got a lot of great entries in the X-ACTO Electric Pencil Sharpener Giveaway, and now we have our winner! Congratulations to Holly!

I should win this pencil sharpener because I am in a newly created classroom that does not have a pencil sharpener. At this point I will have to either have to win this contest, find the nearest classroom that has one, or buy one myself. I have been trying all summer to win a pencil sharpener and have come up empty handed in that department each time so hopeful this time it will be different…Come to think of it, I do have a clock either. Oh well, I wonder what other things that I have forgot. We will soon see with school starting in just over a week.

Enjoy your new pencil sharpener, Holly! Everyone else, head on over to our new Avery HI-LITER Giveaway! Don’t miss your chance to win three dozen pink, green and yellow highlighters!

I LOVE these sharpeners, we have a few in our workroom for sharpening our pencils. I would love to win one for our school. A few of ours in June were making the oddest noises as we sharpened the pencils. Thank you!

I am heading back to the classroom after 6 yrs stint in the principal’s office. Trying to get everything organized in my third grade class and noticed no electric pencil sharpener. I am sure my students would be most appreciative as would I.

I should win because my classroom has a hand crank sharpener that eats ppencils and an electric one that whines as it takes about one minute to sharpen each pencil. This sharpener would make a world of difference in my classroom.

The one in my classroom could not stand up to the use by my student and this one would be the perfect answer to our pencil sharpening problems.

  • I am just tired of buying 15 different sharpeners to keep them handy so whenever my girls ask to sharpen their pencil, I can find them!

As an interventionist, my students are constantly responding to text. Therefore, we go through so many pencils! My classroom is not equipped with a pencil sharpener and the current electric sharpener I have doesn’t work well, forcing mr to go to our office to sharpen pencils. Having a new sharpener would be such a time saver!!!

First year teacher, and almost ALL the teachers I’ve talked to have this sharpener. I’ve been pricing them in all different stores and the cheapest I can find is $57.99. With everything else I have to buy for my classroom, this would be a huge blessing to win!!

I just moved into a new office due to a promotion and I am reorganizing it. I have found a plethora of pencils but no sharpener. As life skills coordinator, I teach art classes and we could really use a new sharpener. Please?

  • My school doesn’t allow us much money to purchase supplies, and the teacher in my job before my clearly did not
take care of the sharpeners she had. I wanted to order this exact sharpener, but didn’t have the funds or money of my own. I teach middle school language arts, so it would really come in handy!!!!

I would like to win because my classroom could use another pencil sharpener. The manual ones don’t last very long.

  • I am a third grade teacher and last year we went though 4 sharpeners the first one the school provided but the last three came out of my pocket. Sure would be nice to have a good sharpener in the classroom that not only gets the job done but keeps on doing it and not break after a few weeks.

I subscribe via email. I should win because with 28 Kindergarten students, they always LOVE having their pencil sharpened! It is the first time for most that have watched this happen! LOL, they are so funny!

Oh my, where should I begin. As a veteran teacher, I cannot tell you how many pencil sharpeners I have gone through over the years. I do know one thing though, the X-ACTO electric Pencil Sharpener is the best there is! Teachers at my school fight over these when they are raffled off during various meetings. I, however, have never been fortunate enough to win one and would very much like to win this X-ACTO electric Pencil Sharpener! My students will begin preparing this coming year for 4th grade and the rigorous writing requirements they will face and I sure could use a durable and reliable pencil sharpener! I hope you wills elect me! Thank you for supporting education!!

  • Being a high school English teacher, with about 85 students every 12 weeks, we sure go through the pencil sharpeners. I haven’t found one yet that is up to the challenge of all the pencils. Is yours up to the challenge???? Would love to find out!!

I teach Pre K in a public school and we receive very little funding. My little ones are just learning to write their names and break their pencils pretty often. I could really use a newer pencil sharpener. The one I have is a hand-me-down from the retiring teacher whose room I moved into. It needs replacing but I do not have the funds to do so. Thank-you for offering this giveaway.YOUR

As a 1st Grade Teacher I can assure sharpening pencils is my only hobby during the school year. Until last year I had never bought an Exact- O sharpener, but I have fallen in love. It is the only one that lasted the entire school year!

Sharp students need sharp pencils! I teach 4th grade and my students deserve a reliable sharpener. Last year we had trouble with the one we have and the kids had to resort to using the manual sharpener. Our school does not have the funds to replace the sharpeners so winning one would be great! My students deserve would really appreciate a 21st century sharpener!

I so need this! I sacrificed my own personal electronic pencil sharpener last year in my band hall. I require all my students to have a sharpened pencil on their music stands every day – to make markings in their music. My sharpener broke last year. I hadn’t even thought about replacing it yet (until now). I think I’ll wait and hope that I could win this one. 🙂 Band camp starts on the 12th, so this drawing came right at the right time! 🙂

I’ve been teaching for 14 years and pencils are always a problem. I always get X-Acto sharpeners. I would love to have this since our maintenance department will not provide me with a pet beaver to keep up with the high demand of sharpened pencils in my writing class.

  • I have to buy at least one new pencil sharpener for my classroom every year. I would love to actually have a good one that would last beyond one school year!
