  • I am a 6th grade science teacher who spends a substantial amount of money each school buying supplies for my students. Winning this would be a great way to provide additional supplies to my students and help to free up some of my money for other things I would like to do with my students.

I think winning these prizes will help to give that extra boost of confidence my kids need to start the year off on their best foot. Sometimes I am not able to get them the supplies they need for school and it would be a treat to say…”Go ahead you can get the name brand items for back to school!”

Many of my students come to school with no supplies. It would be great to win these, so that I don’t have to buy them myself.

  • I lost my job this past year and my daughter is going to be a junior. We are going through a rough patch where we were scrapping money together to buy milk for my one year old. To win this it would truly be a blessing. My daughter is really sick, so for me to be able to afford her medical bills I have to live in poverty. Anything helps but know if I win it would make the world to her. Thank you.

I am a rising junior in college studying Public Health and Marketing. With the high cost of tuition, textbooks, and the cost of living, I find that I don’t have money to buy new school supplies. Last year I recycled old notebooks from the semester before and used the leftover pieces of paper. I grabbed free pens anywhere I could on campus. Unfortunately my supplies are running low, and I am not sure how I’ll be able to afford new supplies for the upcoming school year. Many of my friends are also struggling with this, and I think $500 worth of supplies would be enough to share with them. I deserve to win because I am a hard-working student, and I would share with other students at my university. If I win, I will also remember the generosity of supplies.com and pay it forward one day after graduation when I am more financially stable. Thank you so much for your consideration and I really appreciate this giveaway even if I do not win – it’s great to help someone out in need!

Winning the back to school supplies would be wonderful because I would be able to supply my 13 yr old, 11yr old, and my 4 yr old with everything they need at school and at home to be prepared and capable of doing all work and projects required of them to be successful this coming school year. I will not be able to provide these materials without a miracle or blessing to happen. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing this contest with us and giving us the opportunity to win supplies for our students. I am a band director at a Title 1 Middle School where a majority (somewhere around 90%) of our students are on free and reduced lunches. I do my best to offer my students as much as possible knowing that they have to pay for their instruments, instrument supplies, and other supplies. If I were to win this contest, I could offer my students with the biggest needs some supplies to make them fit in and have what’s required. I often allow students to use school-owned instruments for free, but I cannot buy binders, dividers, sheet protectors, etc. for them as well.
