I’m one of those people who loved school so I have more than one favorite teacher., but I’ll only tell about one. My favorite teacher in elementary school was Mrs. Glover. She was young and enthusiastic. When I gre up I wanted to be just like her. She taught us in different ways which made us want to learn.

My favorite teacher was Mrs.Richardson. She taught me everything I needed to in 9th grade plus the important value of life and the importance of school! If it wasn’t for her I would have never graduated from school but she made me get on a straight path and succeed in graduating.

I have been working with students with special needs for 8 years now, and while we all know that teachers don’t have a “favorite student,” there are definitely those who really make an impression.

For me, it is one child whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with for 3 years. He is one of the coolest kids I’ve ever met with Asperger’s. Think of a mini rain man, with tons of affection, a great sense of humor, and the superhuman ability to make everyone around him laugh and generally be in a better mood.

This year I have to finally let him move on out of my class, and maybe… just maybe it might have brought a tear to my eye, but I’m a grown adult male and have no feelings when it comes to things like this.

    Anyway, shared, liked, signed up.

I have worked with many great teachers over he years and continue to do so. Here in Marshall Public Schools in WI I have to say Mrs.Larkins and Mrs.Connally. They are two peas in a pod. This is a small district with limited resources, however that does not stop these two from succeeding. They on their own have created raised gardens for our students to help raise , touch, feel and taste food as it being grown. Their positive attitude is appreciated by all they touch. They have volunteered heir husbands as well creating great interactive projects with our students. They keep looking for opportunities to make things better and they do! Their hard work and dedication is so noted and appreciated by other staff our students and most importantly our community at large. Thank you for letting me share their story of what altruism looks like!

My favorite teacher as of today are my parents. They taught me to respect myself and others. They give me the courage to aim high and to never give up. They have taught me not only through their words, but through their actions, they type of child, spouse, parent, friend and co-worker I want to be.

  • My favorite teacher of all time would have to be Mr. Smyser, my 5th grade teacher. He introduced me to journalism by starting a school paper that year. I became the editor of one of the sections in the paper and have been writing ever since! Although, I am not a professional writer, I fell in love with writing and continue to write for fun on my blog and anywhere else that I can! I shared the giveaway on my FB page: Pink Ink and Polka Dots.

My kids attend Treetops and I as a mom love Miss Katy. She taught my daughter 2nd grade and if I’m lucky she will teach my son this year too. She is so patient, sweet natured and nurturing. She inspired my daughter to think about the environment and now she wants to be a marine biologist so she can help clean up the ocean and save the animals. Shared on FB

It would be impossible for me to pick my favorite teacher because our teachers are incredibly caring individuals, they
are all so AWESOME!! One of our teachers won teacher of the year, this year on Live with Michael and Kelly. So instead of telling you who my favorite teacher is let me tell you why I should win. Cameron PTSA partners with our Cameron Community Action Partnership to give free school supplies to the low income families in our community. Winning the free school supplies would HELP so many kids in our community!! Please help me help them!!I shared the giveaway on my facebook page. Thank you!!

I have met all requirements. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Marlene, she was the sweeting and kindest women I had every met. She was the one to inspire me to become an artist. For she showed me how to paint with creativity! I wish she could still be here but, in 2009 she died from breast cancer that was with her for 4 years. She was still an amazing woman! ( also I am in no need for these supplies. I’m giving them to my neighbor who is in desperate need for these supplies. Because they spend the only money they have on food) I’m not lying in any of this. Please consider me!!

My favorite teacher is Michelle Howell who teaches at Johnson County Westside. She teaches a class of students in grades 3-6. Her students benefit from not only her expertise but also her enthusiasm, love of teaching and love of children. She uses a variety of methods to spark student interest and continues to look for ways to expand her student’s knowledge as well as her own. She is an inspiration to me!

My favorite teacher is Grimsley Graham. He was my AP English Comp. teacher my junior year in high school. He took the time to work with me on my writing skills and made me a much better writer in just one school year. His passion for teaching was very evident in the way he treated all of his students. His lessons were interesting and assignments were meaningful. I grew, so much, as a writer that year.

My favorite teacher is also my former co-worker: Carolyn Williams. She is the hardest-working reading interventionist I have ever met. She was always willing and open to help me with advice, and shared her room sweetly with me. She was always leaving me chocolate to brighten my day. She spends money out of her pocket to help the students. She is witty and positive, and I am GLAD that she is my friend!
