My favorite teacher wod have to be Mr. Paxton my professor while attending collage. I had him for multiple courses and what made the biggest press ion on me was his personal teaching method, his background knowledge, and his belief and love of what he was teaching.

My favorite teacher was Mrs green. I had her for first grade and she was amazing. Now that I have kids in school she is retired but substitute teaches at the school still. She’s amazing. Also Mrs hughes. My daughter had her for kindergarten last year. She went above and beyond for her students.

  • My favorite teach was my kindergarten teacher Mrs. Glover. I had really bad separation anxiety as a child and at the same time my dad was still in the Navy and gone a lot. She really took the time to make me feel comfortable and always made sure I was ok.

Our favorite teacher is the Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Martindale. When she retires, they will lose a well-loved teacher. All the kids love being in her class and even as they get older wish they still had her as a teacher. She is warm, caring, patient, takes as much time as needed with each child… everyone loves her, from the students to the parents to the faculty. Thank you, Mrs. Martindale, for your inspiration every day!

My favorite teachers was Mrs Shumker for History and Mrs. Williams for PE/Health at NIMS. Both of these ladies knew how to make learning fun. They got students to be involved and related their lessons to real world issues which made it more real to me. Now that I am a teacher in PE/Health, I try to do the same for my students. I love my students as if they were my own kids and and teach with the kind of love these two ladies taught. Do I still love history… I sure do… I think teachers who can teach children to love the past (their history) and the future (exercise and health), means they were extraordinary teachers!!!! I hope to continue to teach everything they taught me!

My favorite student moment was the end of last year. I am moving from HS to 1st. On the last day when he came to say good-bye he said to me, “just promise me you’ll come for graduation!” I’ve had him on and off over the years from 2nd through 11th grade..he is a great kid and my best teaching moment ever! And, I WILL be there to see him graduate next year 🙂

my favorite memory of a student from my kindergarten class was when one of my little boys came to meet the teacher night and met a friend outside the classroom.he asked which class he was in. The little boy in my room said, oh no you didn’t pass Kindergarten. Well I’m in this class so I past. Needless to say they both were in K again, but one was with me and the other was with the same teacher they both had the year before.

I have too many favorite students to just list one, but if I must. Jonathon was a quiet kid in my class, but a couple of times during high school he stopped by to visit me, then I didn’t hear from him for a few years. One day as I was sitting at my desk grading papers after school I “felt” someone at my door. I turned to look and there was a U.S. Marine in his dress blues standing at attention in my doorway. Tears welled up in my eyes as I saw the boy had turned into a man. He had just returned from Iraq. We sat for a couple of hours visiting, reminiscing and learning together again.

My Kindergarten teacher was my favorite. Back then, we only went half a day, either morning or afternoon class. I was in the morning class and a lot of times would stay for afternoon class and then go home with the teacher and stay the night. She was such a sweetheart!

  • My favorite teacher was Mrs. Gore, my English teacher. She had a wonderful personality, she honestly loved her job. She had wonderful teaching abilities. Having her as a teacher, changed my life, she taught all of us to love learning. I excelled in my other classes, she taught us how to study, to write and enjoy it. The lessons she taught me had an effect on my life. I was not planning on attending college, until she showed/taught me how to love learning. Thanks to her, I was the first person in my family to go to college and receive a degree. Thanks you Mrs.Gore for having faith in me.

My favorite student, Jade, had a learning disorder and tried harder than any other student to excel. We worked together after school and Jade graduated from high school with honors. She sent me flowers and I will never forget her. If at first you don’t succeed, try and try again; that was her motto.
